Sample Route from 
Trogir to Korcula 

If you are setting sail from Trogir and would like to spend each night on a different island, there are many great options to choose from. Here are some suggestions for the order of visits if you wish to explore the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar, Vis and Korcula:

  • Solta: Begin your journey on the island of Solta, just a short boat ride from Trogir. You can visit the picturesque bays of Maslinica and Necujam before moving on to the next destination.      
  • Brac: Next, stop at the island of Brac and visit the charming town of Bol and the bay of Zlatni Rat, famous for its beautiful pebble beach.

  • Korcula: End your journey on the beautiful island of Korcula, known for its medieval old town and lovely bays such as Pupnatska Luka and Vaja.  

Of course there are many other great islands and bays you can visit on your trip, but these suggestions should give you a good idea of where to start. It is always advisable to check local weather conditions and navigation notices before planning and departing on your journey. 

If you sail from Trogir spending each night on a different island and visiting Solta, Brac, Hvar, Vis and Korcula, you will cover a total of approximately 150–200 nautical miles. The exact distance, however, depends on the route you take and how often you stop to visit bays or engage in other activities. 

To give you an idea of the approximate nautical miles you will sail, here are the distances between the islands:

  • Trogir to Solta: 6–8 nautical miles
  • Solta to Brac: 20–25 nautical miles
  • Brac to Hvar: 10–15 nautical miles
  • Hvar to Vis: 15–20 nautical miles
  • Vis to Korcula: 35–40 nautical miles
  • Korcula back to Trogir: 60–70 nautical miles

The Island of Solta

Island of Brac

The Croatian island of Brac has many bays and beaches to offer, many of which boast crystal-clear turquoise water and a picturesque landscape. Here are some of the most interesting bays on Brac:
